UFEC Academy is part of the Unió de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya (UFEC), with the collaboration of the Unió d’Esports de Catalunya (UEC), which also belongs to the Unió de Consells Esportius de Catalunya (UOEC).
We are an organisation that brings together the wealth of training UFEC has developed throughout its history, and we drive the creation of new programmes geared to the needs of the sports sector in a constantly changing world.
We develop courses, research projects and single-topic discussion sessions programmed together with prestigious collaborators. Clear, practical, high-quality content trains and shapes sports professionals with the greatest possible efficiency and confidence in the challenges they face day to day.
Founded in 1933, UFEC is a body of solidarity among the Catalan sports federations and, among other roles, it provides sports education.
The basis for this training work is set out in the Sports Professions Act 3/2008, in which UFEC, together with the General Secretariat for Sport, takes on the commitment to promote face-to-face and blended training programmes, with the aim of ensuring that all training for sports technicians matches the needs of the sport linked to the Catalan sports federations. It also ensures that this training reaches the whole territory.
Today UFEC runs more than thirty training activities a year for sports technicians and managers, with an average of 400 participants.
